Varsity Symphony Receives Superior Ratings at TAPPS Competition
Last week our students performed their orchestral concert selections at the TAPPS State Music meet in Temple, TX where they received a "SUPERIOR" rating from all the judges. This is the highest rating that any ensemble can achieve.
Their concert selection included the famous New World Symphony by Dvorak and Dark Adventure by Ralph Ford. The students also brought home a staggering 21 State Gold Medals in the individual TAPPS Solo competition in March, which nearly quadruples their previous mark in 2015. Way to go Crusaders!
You'll have a chance to see our talented music students and other special guests as they bring you the spring show titled "Dude, It's A 90s Concert" on May 12. Mark your calendars because this is a night you don't want to miss!
