SYNOPSIS: A dock on the edge of a small lake serves as the backdrop for five different stories. The first vignette coincidentally brings four teens together to sort out their confusing affections for each other. The second story finds a daughter spending the day with her dad at their favorite fishing place in an effort to stir his fading memory. In the third scene, an enthusiastic father brings his family along for a canoe trip. In the fourth story, a young couple have a realization about tuna-fish sandwiches that sends a shockwave through their relationship. In the fifth scene, an angry teen escapes the hardships of his life to blow off some steam when he discovers that his little sister has followed him and insists on staying with him. And in the poetic epilogue, they all discover the comedic and tragic connections they have created.
