Tuition & Financial Grants

“My older brother and I both attended St. Michael’s on grants. I learned at a young age how to work hard for a goal. I believe St. Michael’s instilled within me a strong work ethic that has served me well throughout my career and life and taught me how important it is to give back in service to the community.”

Do you believe private school education is out of reach for your family?

The truth might surprise you. St. Michael’s Catholic Academy sprang from humble beginnings. When we opened in 1984, we were founded to serve, and as a Christ-centered institution, we work to create opportunities for students from a variety of backgrounds and strive to be a school that is accessible.
Tuition cost should never be the sole determining factor in whether a deserving young person can be a part of our Crusader community.

What does that mean for your application? It means that we look at many factors - not only income - to determine eligibility for a financial grant.

Come in. Let’s talk.

International Tuition: $31,315

    • International tuition for the 2023-2024 school year is set at $31,315

  • What if we're not returning?

Families must notify Rae Harrison in the registrar's office by February 1, 2023. Withdrawal paperwork will need to be completed by this date to avoid auto re-enrollment (including deposit and tuition payments).
  • What is FACTS?

FACTS is the tuition management system St. Michael's families use to pay our tuition. If you already have a FACTS account from your child's middle school, you can use this account to apply for financial grants.
  • Do I have to create a FACTS account?

Yes! All families are required to have a FACTS account. There is no fee from FACTS to create an account. During account activation, the tuition amount due (including any financial aid awarded prior to March 1) will be available to view. If you have any concerns about having a FACTS account, please contact Bob Hymson.
  • How does auto re-enrollment work if we're applying for a financial grant?

Families will be auto re-enrolled and will receive financial grant notifications after St. Michael's receives a financial grant application. As a family's needs may change year to year, a financial grant application must be filled out annually to review qualifications. Each year, the application will go live in the fall. Families are to complete an application in order to be granted a financial grant before first payments are made in May.

Financial Grants 2023-2024

St. Michael's invites candidates to apply for a financial grant as a way to receive a college preparatory Catholic education irrespective of economic status. Annually, St. Michael's provides assistance to more than 24% of our student body. Grants do not require repayment by recipients. The St. Michael's Financial Grant Committee determines the tuition assistance awarded to each applicant.

We use the FACTS system, which we feel is user-friendly. An aid assessment assists the committee by conducting a preliminary financial need analysis for St. Michael's for the upcoming school year.

A flyer with full instructions on accessing the aid application is available here. The application for applying for a financial grant for the current academic year will open in the fall.
