Daniela Radpay, Spanish Instructor, Awarded Ph.D.

Congratulations to Daniela Radpay on her successful dissertation defense. She has been awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, Department of Spanish and Portuguese - College of Liberal Arts - for her medieval literature work titled "Analyzing Deception throughTheory of Mind Strategies and Machiavellian Intelligence in Don Juan Manuel’s El Conde Lucanor." 

Dr. Radpay was invited to present her work in Santiago, Chile this coming March. She has already presented at a dozen conferences, including the Newberry Library in Chicago. 

Daniela joins the ranks of St. Michael's roster of Ph.D. faculty, including Dr. Josh Coleman (Theology), Dr.James Inman (Latin), Dr. David Morgan (Social Sciences),  Dr. Dennis Sheeter (Science), and Dr. Penny Weibly (English).
