Austin Marathon Volunteer Opportunity

Date: Feb 17 (Sunday) 6:30-11am 
Volunteer agency: GAZELLE FOUNDATION, work a water stop at the Austin Marathon
Location: OUTDOORS RAIN OR SHINE at mile 11 of the marathon (2302 Enfield Road, Austin TX 78703 see map below)
DUTIES: Volunteers cheer and pass out water & gatorade to runners/walkers at mile 11. Link to courses map/road closures. 
Volunteers are provided with an official Austin Marathon Volunteer T-shirt!

The Austin Gives Miles program connects Central Texas non-profit organizations to passionate race participants to raise awareness for causes that give back to our local community. Also, the Gazelle Foundation’s co-founder and genocide survivor, Gilbert Tuhabonye is an avid runner and coach.
