Alums Walk in Dylan's Shoes
Lifetime Crusaders Audrey '18 and Grace '19, both current students at Belmont University, had the opportunity to record at the historic Owen Bradley's "Quonset Hut" last weekend. This studio is where, among other greats, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash recorded while in Nashville. As part of her Audio Engineering and Technology class, Audrey must professionally record, mix and master a song. Grace, a Commercial Voice Major, provided vocals for that mix.
Their skills learned in our "Record Your Own Song" Winter Term course and our Popular Music Education curriculum helped prepare them by giving them hands on experience with recording software, such as Logic Pro X and ProTools. Great job, girls!
