St. Gabriel's and St. Michael's Celebrate Annual Archangel Mass

On Tuesday, October 1, St. Michael’s Catholic Academy and Saint Gabriel’s Catholic School celebrated their annual St. Gabriel, St. Michael, and St. Raphael Archangel Mass on the St. Michael’s campus. This tradition has been carried out for many years, some seniors having attended for 12 years (including their time at St. Gabriel’s), and it’s always a fun highlight when St. Gabe’s kindergartners and St. Michael’s seniors stand up to be recognized. Students, staff and parents of both schools worked together to provide a beautiful ceremony. The Mass, which is offered for students and alumni, included performances from the wonderful St. Gabriel’s choir and St. Michael’s praise band. Fr. Lou Brusatti and Fr. Jim McDonough were concelebrants. Many students of both schools were asked to participate in the Mass as altar servers, lectors and Eucharistic ministers. Overall, it was a lovely ceremony that captivated the close partnership of St. Michael’s and St. Gabriel’s.
