Lago Vista Golf Tourney Nets Individual and Team Improvement (By Coach Franklin Hudson)
SMCA Golf competed at the Lago Vista Spring Classic this week! The course was challenging and the weather didn't cooperate, but the Crusaders are still finished strong!
We had two individual standouts with Brace Ryan taking home second place, and Georgia Hernandez placing third!
The men's team of Luke Barnett, Jackson Wiles, Jake Cuba, Koke Dolce, and Jeremy McMahan also took home second place with a 388 total!
Nice work to Luke Barnett for improving by 2 strokes, Koke Dolce by 3 shots, Jeremy McMahan by 9 shots, August Brown dropped 14 shots, and Josiah Sgro 16 strokes.
It's all working up to District, so keep it up, Crusaders!
I want to thank to Sue McMahan and Amy Dolce for their support. They have made sure our team has stayed hydrated and fed during our rounds. Also, thank you to the parents who have come out to support the team!
