Winter Sports Accolades (By Kevin Steen, Associate Athletic Director & Head Trainer)

St. Michael's Athletic Department congratulates the following individuals on winter sports teams for receiving post-season accolades. We've compiled some photos in recognition of these student-athletes.
 
Men's Basketball team reached the TAPPS 5A Regional Finals for the second year in a row. George Washington earned First Team All-State Honors and First Team All-District Honors. Kade Killeen earned Honorable Mention All-State Honors and First Team All-District Honors. Major Thurman received First Team All-District Honors. Jack Esparza, Daniel Serna and Thomas McCarthy earned Second Team All-District Honors. Kade Killeen, Thomas McCarthy and Major Thurman earned Academic All-State Honors.

TAPPS 5A District 4 Championship and Regional Finalist Women’s Basketball team: Aaliyah Jones earned First Team All-State Honors and First Team All- District Honors. Lily Watkins earned Second Team All-State Honors and First Team All-District Honors. Kathryn Morton earned Honorable Mention All-State Honors and earned First Team All-District Honors. Audrey Griffith earned First Team All-District Honors. Emily Schaffer and Mia Wilson earned Second Team All-District Honors. Aaliyah Jones and Kathryn Morton, earned Academic All-State Honors.

Men’s Soccer team reached the TAPPS 5A Area Round. Noah Culp, Tripp Daniel and Augie Stone earned First Team All-District Honors. Thomas Daniel, Oliver Mann, Andrew Stewart and Sam Stone earned Second Team All-District Honors. Holt Bliss and Austin Dickey earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors. Andrew Stewart earned Academic All-State Honors.
TAPPS 5A District 4 Championship Women’s Soccer team: Jessica Mikell earned First Team All-State Honors and First Team All-District Honors. Caroline Brutocao and Jordan Sommers earned Second Team All-State Honors and First Team All-District Honors. Cadence Layne and Ryan Young earned First Team All-District Honors. Lily Linn, Skylar Mackey and Finola Thomas earned Second Team All-District Honors. Annika Coffman, Ellie Greff, Sophia Linn and Elena Meigs earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors. Caroline Brutocao, Jessica Mikell, Jordan Sommers and Ryan Young earned Academic All-State Honors.
 
Swim team had six swimmers qualify for the State Swim Championshiop. Gabrielle Bliss earned Academic All-State Honors.
