Spring Sports Post-Season Accolades (By Kevin Steen, Associate Athletic Director and Head Trainer)

Due to spring sports being cancelled by COVID-19 crisis, the TAPPS Executive Board made a decision that they would not award the following for the 2019-2020 school year: the Henderson Cup, TAPPS Male and Female Athlete of the Year, TAPPS Coach of the Year and TAPPS Spring Sports All District and All State Awards. The Texas High School Lacrosse League voted to not have season honors due to COVID-19 as well.

For the 2019-20 Spring Sports, TAPPS will amend the published standards for qualification of the Academic All State Awards. The award will remain for Junior and Senior students whose cumulative GPA exceeds a 3.5 as required by TAPPS governance.
