"Love in Action" Service Award Recipients (By Rae Harrison, Registrar)

“YOU are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”
Matthew 5:13-16

Service to the community is an integral part of the mission of St. Michael’s Catholic Academy. We are inspired by the many ways our students managed to reach out to those in need while in the midst of the pandemic and particularly want to recognize those who went beyond the 60 required hours during their four years of high school. They volunteered at a variety of organizations and events, including food pantries
St. Michael's telethon, NHS Tutoring, Archangels Food Drive, Catholic Charities, Meals on Wheels, Inside Books, The Trail Foundation, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, among others.
