Bright Future for Golf Team (By Coach Hudson)

Both days were windy at the TAPPS 5A Golf Tournament in Waco, TX earlier this week, but our two finalists pulled through and gave it their all!

Changing wind speeds and gusts forced Coach Hudson to shift his strategy for golfers Georgia H and Caroline W. The girls were steady in their efforts and held their own. After two days of play, Georgia finished the tournament in 18th place with a score of 195 and Caroline scored a 209 putting her in 25th place. 48 of the best girls in the state competed at this tournament, and Coach Hudson is so proud of all of his athletes!

"We are very proud of our ladies and boys for a year well played! I am really pumped to get started this fall. We will be back at the State Tournament, next time with both teams," said Hudson.
