Late Start/Distance Learning Day

What: Our late start days will still be once per quarter. Classes will still begin at 10 am during which teachers will be on campus for in-person professional development and teaching virtually from campus. Students will be virtual and attendance will be recorded. We will have shortened classes A-G with no flex.

Why:  On “late start” days, we will be using new technology applications, (or practicing ones we used last year) that will keep faculty and students proficient and responsive to a variety of digital literacies.  In addition to pedagogical benefits, virtual late start allows students more rest and helps those parents with transportation issues on “late start” days.
