Sneak Peek of "A Chance of Snow" SMCA Film

Starting in December of 2017, the SMCA film department had the amazing opportunity to work on Mr. Dziedzic's new Christmas movie A Chance of Snow. The result was a unique collaboration with student filmmakers and professionals that improved the prospects of two movies.
 
Bella Marco offered insight and so many rewrite notes that she shares credit with Mr D on the feature film A Chance of Snow. Mr D's team also helped mentor and guide the SMCA Cinema Club as they completed their award winning, State Champion spin-off film Secret Santas.
The collaboration with SMCA runs through the whole process. Theater director Ivan Klousia stars in A Chance of Snow. SMCA Alums Anna Claire Smith, Logan House and Olivia Sigel also star. Music director Steve Moreland wrote and produced several songs that appear in the film. Several dozen film students worked behind the scenes to help get the film made and learned so much in the process. Current student Ryan Lenhart sat in on the final edit. 
 
Before what we hope will be a long festival run, the movie will get an Austin sneak peek as part of the Austin Revolution Film Festival. 
 
A small number of tickets remain.
