Cross Country Teams Compete in the Lockhart Invitational

The St. Michael’s Cross Country teams continued their successful season at the Lockhart Invitational on Saturday, August 25. The boys varsity team of Nathaniel Mahoney, Alex Garcia, Lachlan Thomas, Jackson Laughery, Nicholas Terracina and Joe Eichorst competed in the 1a-4a Division. Jackson Long ran in the elite 6a race and took 6th place with a strong performance. 

The women continue their team dominance by easily winning the 1a-4a race, without the help of senior runner Kinga Parrish, who was taking the SAT. Mary Hodapp and Camille Terracina led the way with 2nd and 3rd place finishes, respectively. Lyla Senn, Sydney Osgood, Finola Thomas and Gabrielle Bliss all earned top 10 medalist honors, with Ellie Greff taking 14th and Veronica Hodapp taking 28th place. The Crusaders will be back in action August 31 in the Westlake Invitational.
