Men's Basketball Advances to Regional Playoff Game
On Tuesday, February 19, the Men's Basketball team played Carrollton Prince of Peace at Carter Athletic Center in the TAPPS 5A Area Playoffs. With the game tied at 48, the Crusaders with the ball. The Crusaders held the ball for the last shot, and Thomas McCarthy made a layup as time expired for the 50-48 victory. Augie Watkins led the Crusaders with 26 points.
The Crusaders advance to the TAPPS 5A Regionals and will play Tyler Bishop Gorman at West High School on Saturday, February 23. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m. The address for West High School is 1008 Jerry Mashek Dr, West, TX 76691. KMAC/VYPE will be broadcasting the game if you can't make it. It is a TAPPS Playoff Game, Admission prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Let's fill the stands, y'all!
