TAPPS One-Act Play Competition On Campus Saturday October 19

St. Michael's Theatre Department is set to compete in the TAPPS Division I, District 3, One-Act Play contest this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 19. The contest is to be held in the Delgado Theatre. Students are competing for the opportunity to advance to the State finals, which will be held in Kerrville on November 8-9.
Theatre students are in the final stages of preparation to present scenes from Bob: A Life In Five Acts by Peter Sinn Nachtreib. St. Michael's will be competing against four other Division I schools, including Antonian College Prep, Incarnate Word San Antonio, San Antonio Christian School, and Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas. Cast members include freshmen Bryan Carlson, Zane Dahl, Roman Loconto, Melia Ramiriez, and Peter Williams. Sophomores participating are Caverlee Dahill and Emily Lewis. Juniors include Elisa Arguello, Joseph Eichorst, Alyssa Garlepp, and Rylee Russell. The cast is led by senior Collette Phillips. The technical crew includes freshman Gabriela Rangel-Medina on sound, sophomore Daniel Pinzon on lights, junior Hadlee Russell on projection, and junior Sofia Rangel Medina as the Stage Manager.
