One-Act Play District Champions (By Ivan Klousia, Director of Theatre)

Congratulations to the Theatre students who competed in the TAPPS Division I District 3 One-Act Play contest held in the Delgado Theatre on Saturday, October 19. Our production of Bob: A Life In Five Acts was awarded the District Championship, and we advance to the state contest in Kerrville on November 8 and 9. 
In addition to their overall success as district champs, there were several notable individual honors. Receiving Honorable Mention All-Star Cast awards were: Rylee Russell, and Roman Loconto. An All-Star Crew award went to Sofia Rangel-Medina. All-Star Cast Awards went to Collette Phillips, Joseph Eichorst and Alyssa Garlepp.
 
There will be public performances of this production in the Delgado Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, November 13 and 14, starting at 7:00 p.m.
