Career Series Speaker Richard Shields Shares his Story with Students
Richard Shields, current Chief Financial Officer at Arrive Logistics and former CFO of Yeti, Oakley, Quicksilver, and Southwest Water, is a CPA, MBA with significant international business operating experience. He has raised over $2 billion in capital, and is proficient with high leverage, debt restructuring, and refinancing.
Shields gave a lively, informative talk to students about his time working at Taco Bell and how all of his many early work experiences informed his decision to earn a Master's at Notre Dame and learn a second language in order to seize opportunities in what he came to love best: flipping and restructuring businesses.
