Virtual Financial Aid and Senior Parent Night Oct 7 (By Shannon Hudson, Director of College Counseling & Academic Services)

On Wednesday, October 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. we will present Virtual Financial Aid and Senior Parent Night.  Families are welcome to attend the entire event or join the Zoom for the portion they would prefer.

  • 6:30-7 pm (ish)- We will have a college financial aid officer discuss the FAFSA, scholarships, and merit aid, and she will be available to answer any questions you may have about the process. 
  • 7 -7:45 pm - Holistic admission for 2021 and Q&A about the college admissions process for senior families.  
Virtual College Fairs- Please join!  Remember, some colleges still consider demonstrated interest when making admission decisions.

FAFSA:
The application for need based financial aid for colleges opens October 1. Colleges will each have their own deadlines, but the earlier you submit your application the better.
