Boys Golf Finish Tied for Second at Regents Invitational (By Kevin Steen, Associate Athletics Director & Head Trainer)
On Monday, March 22, the St. Michael’s Golf team competed in the Regents Invitational at Lakecliff Golf Course. SMCA had two boys teams entered as team finished tied for second place, six shots out of first place, and the second team finished sixth. Individually, Brace Ryan finished 3rd with 74 and Luke Barnett finished 5th with 77. We even had a personal best, Jeremy McMahan shot 85.
For the girls side, SMCA had two girls entered as medalists. Both girls posted a personal best. Among medalists, they finished 3rd (Rin Courtney) and 4th (Caroline White); against the field they finished 18th and 19th. Both just started competitive play this fall. The final results are below. St. Michael's golf team will be back in action on Monday, March 29, at Hyde Park Invitational at Riverplace.
