Girls Lacrosse Victorious on Senior Night (By Kevin Steen, Associate Athletic Director & Head Trainer)

On Monday, April 12, it was Senior Night for six seniors: Mary Manley, Annika Prevost, Dori Takamatsu, and Anna Usleman on Girls Lacrosse as they hosted district opponent Bowie.

The Lady Crusaders dominated Bowie the whole game and won by a score of 17-1 to increase their record to 8-1. Bridget Baile led the team in scoring with 4 goals. Kate Brady, Abby Moran and Fiona Tanis each scored 3 goals. Dori, Mary, Bonnie Daywood and Johanna Gunter each scored 1 goal.  Abby had 9 draw controls and 7 ground balls. The Lady Crusaders defensively caused 13 turnovers and goalie Lily Peter had 4 saves and only gave up 1 goal. 

The Lady Crusaders clinched the second seed in the district and will be back in action on Thursday, April 22, in the THSGLL Division I Central District Semi-Finals at Crusader Stadium. Time and opponent TBA.
