Pearl District Documentary by Sophomore Film Student Ellie Lashbrook (By James Dziedzic, Film Instructor)

Film student Ellie Lashbrook's documentary on the transformation of San Antonio's Pearl district from brewery to community space took five months to create and produce. This is an advanced product for a sophomore - from researching historical data about the brewery to bringing on someone with expertise about the site's transformation and editing the final film, she portrays how the area has evolved and how it served, and continues to serve, the community.
