Basketball Players Gain ESPN Attention (By Cooper Land, Head Basketball Coach)

Three St. Michael's students generated plenty of buzz on the AAU basketball circuit this summer. Juniors Josh Jones and Ma'shy Hill (transfer from Pflugerville Hendrickson), and sophomore Jamie Vinson competed in tournaments and camps across the country and impressed an array of scouts in the process. Jones and Hill were recognized by ESPN as two of the top players at their positions in the entire country, coming in ranked at #26 and #20, respectively.

Vinson recently participated in the prestigious Chris Paul Rising Stars Camp in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and was recognized as one of the top prospects at the camp by evaluators. Jones, Hill, and Vinson all stand at 6'9 and have amassed ample attention from a variety of D1 schools.  Come out and support the Crusaders in what is sure to be another fun and exciting season of St. Michael's basketball!
