Kairos Retreats for Juniors + Seniors (Meredith LaFontaine, Theology Instructor)

ATTENTION JUNIOR & SENIOR PARENTS!

Is your student interested in attending an annual SMCA Kairos retreat?

Kairos is a Christian, tried and true, Ignatian retreat program offered all over the country to high school and college students and is a long-standing tradition at St. Michael’s.  This year the retreat will be offered to our juniors and seniors once in the fall, winter, and spring.  It is student-led, overnight, off-campus, and optional.

The purpose of Kairos is to allow the retreatant to see the value of the Christian faith lived and experienced in community.  With the support of that community, one can more effectively look within and find true worth as a person in relationship with God, family, friends.

Dates/Location: All of the retreats will be held at Cedarbrake Renewal Center in Belton.
  • October 26 - 29
  • February 8 - 11
  • April 25 - 28
All juniors and seniors have been emailed an interest survey from their theology teacher for signing up.

If they're interested, please remind your student to fill out the survey and don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns (mlafontaine@smca.com).
