St. Michael's Film Instructor and Filmmaker Launches Film Festival (By Roxanne Thurman, STEM Chair & Instructor)

James Dziedzic, our resident film teacher, will be helping launch the San Angelo Revolution Film Festival this week. The San Angelo Convention & Visitors Bureau reached out to James to set up the festival and help grow San Angelo's reputation as a film-friendly town. He'll be taking his expertise to the Concho River this weekend.

While there, he will speak to the Convention & Visitors Bureau and City Council Members regarding San Angelo's future in the vibrant Texas film industry. He'll also be taking the experience in creating one of the most unique film education curricula and passing some of that knowledge to students at Angelo State and high school students in the area.

In addition to the films programmed from all over the world, "IOS11," created by SMCA Varsity Film students will screen.
