Theology Students Visit Seniors at Querencia (By Meredith LaFontaine, Theology Instructor)

Last week, sophomore Theology classes were wrapping up their unit on the sacrament Anointing of the Sick and put into practice some of what they've been learning.  One of the corporal works of mercy is "visiting the sick," so we decided to reach out to the memory care and nursing units at Querencia.  Due to COVID restrictions, we couldn't physically visit patients, so students made holiday cards and care packages filled with candy, lotions, sanitizer, and masks.  The sophomores and their parents really showed up with their generous donations for this effort.  Thanks so much!
