Film Instructor James Dziedzic Interviewed on 'Lights, Camera, Austin' Program (by Laura Duggan, Director of Marketing & Communications)

James Dziedzic is St. Michael's instructor for its unique four-year film studies course, modeled after university programs, which he organized and runs. Since the inception of the program, St. Michael's film students have won competitions as well as awards at film festivals around the country. 

In addition to teaching at St. Michael’s, Dziedzic works in the industry, speaks at university film schools and film festivals, and runs the highly regarded Austin Revolution Film Festival (ARFF), which he founded and directs.  Last week, Dziedzic was interviewed about the 10th Annual ARFF by Robert Sims from Lights, Camera, Austin about the well-known and respected local festival, which Dziedzic characterizes as the "blue-collar" independent filmmaker's festival vehicle. The four-year course includes Editing, Film & TV, Film Critique, Film Production, and Screenwriting. Dziedzic's expertise allows St. Michael’s students exposure and access to other experts in the field.
