Exploring Endowments: Part 2 (By Suzanne Bautch, Director of Donor Relations)

This is the second installment of our endowment awareness campaign, and today we would like to highlight two endowments from our current 13 named endowments.

The Al Ramos Endowment was created anonymously in 2005 in the name of Al Ramos, an alumni parent of Scott '96 and Jacob '01. The award will be granted to an applicant of Hispanic heritage who has maintained a solid B or higher average in junior high and qualifies for a financial grant while attending St. Michael's.

Created in 1997 by Jerry Bell, Sr., in memory of Mrs. Bell, the Beverly Nash Bell Endowment award will be granted to an applicant who would not be able to attend St. Michael's without financial support. The recipient is academically-motivated and has a strong desire to take advantage of the dynamic curriculum St. Michael's offers.

We are so grateful to the generous individuals and families who created and contributed to our endowment funds. They play a major role in the long-term health of our wonderful school. Look for more endowment highlights in our upcoming newsletters.

If you have any questions about our endowments, how to contribute to, or create your own named endowment to be used for a specific purpose, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at (512) 225-0838 or sbautch@smca.com.
