Central Texas Food Bank - SERVICE OPPORTUINITY

Central Texas Food Bank works with food donors across the country, financial supporters, and volunteers to meet the needs of Central Texans. This commitment from private, government, and charitable partners allowed the organization to bring nearly 54 million meals to the community last year. The food bank shares free food and knowledge on low-cost, healthy eating with families in need, assists families who qualify for federal assistance, and makes food affordable for charitable and government partners.

Assist in a mobile food pantry and connect with central Texans all over the service area at a mobile food pantry distribution. Help distribute food and provide cheerful service to clients. Work behind-the-scenes in the warehouse. You will inspect, sort, clean, box and prepare donations for distribution. Lend a hand in the Community Kitchen to support on-site food preparation for multiple meal programs, including Kid's™ Cafe and Summer Meals. If you seek a rigorous outdoor volunteer experience, assist the gardener by shoveling compost, pulling weeds, and harvesting produce. Volunteer now!
