Ted Beiter Sets a School Record at Swim Meet

The St. Michael's Swim team had their second meet of the season on Wednesday, November 16th at the Texas School for the Deaf. Junior Ted Beiter placed first in his three individual events, 50 free, 100 free and then finished the night with a personal best in Breast Stroke – taking first and breaking the school record at 1:02:82!

Other highlights in the men’s division – Josh Bannon placed first in the 200 Free, second in 100 Fly.  Senior Allan Kane placed 2nd in the 50 free, 3rd in 100 Fly and third in 100 Backstroke. Sophomore Jacob Pratt placed 3rd in 200 free, and 4th in 50 free. Senior Alex Elledge placed 6th in the 50 free. Relay Team Pratt, Kane, Bannon and Beiter placed first in the 200 Free Relay. Team Elledge, Beiter, Kane and Bannon placed 2nd in the 200 IM relay. 
 
Junior Gianna Lasita led the women’s team with two personal best placing 1st in 50 free and a 2nd in the 100 backstroke. Sophomore Claire Beiter placed 6th in 100 Breast and 50 free. Mary Hodapp placed 5th in the 200 Free and 7th in 50 free.  Team Lasita, Hodapp, Beiter and McKenzie placed 2nd in the 200 free relay and third in the 200 IM relay.
