Another Trio of Signings!
On Thursday, May 18, three St. Michael’s Seniors, Maria Nowlin, Cecilia Terracina and Helena Dersch, signed their letters of intent in the Carter Athletic Center in front of family and friends to continue their athletic careers at their respective schools.
Maria has been running track and cross country at St. Michael’s for four years and has been a part of two TAPPS Women's Cross Country State Championship teams during her time here. She will be running cross country and track at Trinity University in San Antonio. Helena Dersch will be pole vaulting at The University of Redlands in Redlands, California. This was Helena’s first year on the track team. Despite inexperience, she was able to make it to the state meet and compete in the pole vaulting events. Cecilia Terracina will be attending Loyola University in New Orleans, where she will continue her pole vaulting career. This was Cecilia’s second year on the track team and she qualified for the regional meet both years.
