75th Anniversary Screening of Casablanca (By James Dziedzic, Film Instructor)
The St. Michael's Cinema Club is excited to host a 75th Anniversary screening of Casablanca on January 28 at 4:00 p.m. Named the #3 movie of all time by the American Film Institute, Casablanca follows two star-crossed lovers torn apart by war. The film features iconic performances by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, among others. Directed by Michael Curtiz (White Christmas, Robin Hood), the film is a study in how changing world events affect everyone, no matter how big the 'gin joint.' Join the Cinema Club for the screening and a brief discussion on the film.
