Women's Soccer Sweeps Regents
On Friday, January 26, Women’s Varsity Soccer beat Regents 3-0. In the third minute of the first half Kristen Walton scored. Then, soon after, Caroline Brutocao scored in the fifth minute off of a corner from Jessica Mikell. The score was 2-0 at halftime. In the Second half Caroline Brutocao passed to Jessica Mikell in the 39th minute, who found the back of the net, leaving the final score of the game 3-0.
On Tuesday, January 30, The Lady Crusaders again defeated Regents 3-0 on Future Crusader Night, In the first half, Caroline Keyes kicked a corner to Hannah Morgan, who headed it in the back of the net In the fifth minute. The Lady Crusaders were up 1-0 at halftime. In the tenth minute of the second half Caroline Brutocao scored. Then, Hannah Morgan scored in the twelfth minute, leaving the final score of the game 3-0.
The Lady Crusaders are now 4-0 in district with two games remaining in the regular season before the TAPPS Division II State Playoffs. Their next game is on Friday, February 2, at Crusader Stadium against St. Dominic Savio at 7:00 p.m. It is also Senior Night for the Lady Crusaders. Presentation will begin after the men's soccer game.
