Dance

The Dance department focuses on the acquisition of practical movement skills, movement perception, historical and cultural dance heritage, and evaluation of movement as an artistic expression. Additionally, students will expand their knowledge regarding the interrelationship between the arts and other academic areas.

As students progress through their career as dancers, they may choose a rigorous path focusing on ballet, jazz, or an independent course of the student's and teacher's choosing that will not only focus on growth in the classroom but all extracurricular activities that the Fine Arts Department has to offer.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in the Crusaderette Drill Team and perform at various school functions such as football games, etc.
