Baseball Clinches Lead in Eighth Inning Victory Over Brentwood (Compiled by Caroline Anderson, Athletic Administrative Assistant)

Crusader Baseball nabbed the lead late in the game in an exciting 4-3 victory over Brentwood Christian on Tuesday.
 
Jack Beiter pitched St. Michael's to victory. Beiter went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking zero. After hitting a double and stealing home to score the leading run, RJ Latkowski threw one relief inning and recorded the last three outs to earn the save for the Crusaders.
 
The Crusaders socked one home run on the day with Grant Fahrlander going yard in the fourth inning. Latkowski, Owen Moore, Beiter and Fahrlander each collected one hit to help lead St. Michael's victory.
 
Their next game is Friday, March 26, at Hyde Park High School starting at 6 p.m.
