Faculty & Staff In-Service Day A Blessing (By Caroline Anderson, Marketing & Communications Coordinator)

While our students had the day off, St. Michael's faculty and staff spent the day reflecting on service.

Dr. Annie Bullock, Director of Campus Ministry, started the day reminding us of why service is one of our four pillars of the mission at SMCA, followed by a presentation from @catholiccharitiesctx about their work in our community. We were then treated to a wonderful talk from Father Bruce Nieli about his work in social justice and the role that we all play in spreading good to humankind.

We spent the remainder of our time sorting and packaging diapers and baby care products from our recent drive to benefit the St. Gabriel's Pregnancy and Parenting at Catholic Charities.

Thank you to Catholic Charities for being a part of this special day of service and community.
