St. Gabriel’s Summer Camp Volunteer Opportunity (By Rae Harrison, Registrar & Service-Learning Coordinator)

SGCS Summer Camps uses the d.Lab for Making, a state-of-the-art makerspace program where the school’s maker education curriculum empowers students by creating opportunities to shape and influence the world around them.  This program allows for experiential learning with an emphasis on innovation, solution-seeking, and collaboration. Each week campers face new and different challenges to solve while growing in imagination and creativity, building confidence, and learning important lessons about perseverance and resilience.
