Mark Holt co-founded and serves as Chief Financial Officer for Apogee Telecom, Inc., an Austin based company founded in 1998 to serve Information Technology and Infrastructure needs in colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, Mark also serves on the board of Degree Analytic and Elauwit Connections, two technology companies with ties to the higher education market of which Mark was an early investor. From 2003-2010, Mark moved to Anchorage Alaska to work for a startup cellular communication company, Alaska DigiTel, and played a role in bringing cellular technology to large cities like Anchorage as well as rural Alaska. DigiTel was sold to the local cable Company, GCI, in 2008 where Mark served as a director overseeing cellular technology expansion throughout Alaska for two years post close. Mark has earned a degree in accounting from St. Edward's University in Austin and has earned the designation of Certified Public Accounting in 2002. Mark and his wife Julie have one daughter, Avery Holt who is a 2023 graduate of Westlake High School.
