Celebrating Women's Lacrosse - 5th Consecutive District Win! (By Coach Caitlin Fegley)

After District play, St. Michael's came away with a record-breaking total of 11 awards! We had another All-American named AND an Academic All-American chosen (only three athletes are chosen for each award from the entire district!).

The following Varsity players who were just named All-District, All-State, Academic All-American and All-American award recipients.

ALL-AMERICAN
(Best three players from the Central District. They exhibit superior skills and techniques, posses exceptional game sense and knowledge, and embody good sportsmanship. Although not required, strong consideration is given for players who have received All-State, All-County, or All-District team in current or previous seasons. Furthermore, players should be on varsity, play the majority of the teams' games, be a significant contributor, be of outstanding character and be in good academic standing in their school.)

(A US Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom (must hold a 3.7 GPA or higher). Only three players are chosen from the Central District.)

(Each District Varsity Division selects 12 players who represent the “best of the best" in the district, by position. The 12 players shall be comprised of three attack players, five midfield players, three defense players, and one goalie.)
