Texas Secretary of State Service Opportunity Sep 12 (By Rae Harrison, Registrar)

The November 3, General Election is fast approaching and the State of Texas anticipates an increase in Absentee Ballot Voting by Mail applications. The Secretary of State and Deputy Secretary of State are working diligently to make certain eligible voters receive an application in a timely manner. All Crusaders are invited to join in this effort to assist in the preparation of the mailing on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the Texas Secretary of State’s Office located in the James E. Rudder State Office Building, 1019 Brazos Street, Austin, Texas. Students may work between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Full details are available here.

Please be assured the office maintains strict adherence to CDC and State Health authorities' recommendations for safety and insists student volunteers heed these recommendations while participating in this service opportunityThere will be refreshments and ample room to maintain social distance.
