Fall Play Auditions Sep 15-16 (By Ivan Klousia, Director of Theatre)
SMCA Theatre will hold auditions Tuesday and Wednesday, September 15-16, for the fall theatre production. The fall play title has yet to be chosen, and will be selected based on the students who plan to participate.
Auditions will be in the theatre at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept ember 15, for Group 1 students and at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, for those in Group 2. Students who have opted for virtual learning for the first quarter may audition via Zoom. If you plan to audition virtually, please contact Mr. Klousia at iklousia@smca.com to set up an audition time.
Students auditioning in person should plan to gather at Wade Plaza in front of the theatre on their audition day. In the event of rain, we will move to the inside theatre lobby. Remember to follow all health and safety guidelines (masks, social distancing, etc.).
Auditions will consist of readings of scenes and/or monologues, and those materials will be provided. Interested students do not need to prepare any materials prior to the audition. The audition materials will be shared digitally, so students will be able to use their phones or tablets to audition. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Klousia: iklousia@smca.com.
