Boys Basketball Reaches TAPPS Final Four (By Kevin Steen, Associate Athletic Director & Head Trainer)

After defeating Brownsville St. Joseph's Academy on Saturday, March 6, by a score of 71-49 in the TAPPS 5A Boys Basketball Regional Finals, the Crusaders faced The Woodlands Christian Academy in the TAPPS 5A Boys Basketball State Semi-Finals on Tuesday, March 9, at Bryan High School.

The Crusaders played hard against the Houston district champions but fell by a score of 44-31. After two years straight of reaching the elite eight, the Crusaders were able to punch their ticket to the final four this year. The Crusaders finished the season with a record of 19-8.

St. Michael's Catholic Academy is very proud of the boys basketball team reaching the final four, and we wish the senior class the best of luck in whatever they do. This senior class was a part of three district championships, three regional final appearances, and one state semi-final appearance.  Thank you Griffin Hahn, Kade Killeen, Max Lemke, Joseph Meyer, Michael Milliner, Austin Poer, and Daniel Serna.
