Camille Terracina Takes First at Speedster Classic (By Caroline Anderson, Athletic Administrative Assistant)

The Crusader Cross Country team competed at the Speedster Cross Country Classic at Tenroc Ranch in Salado, Texas on Saturday. The girls had another strong showing with all three runners finishing in the top 10 in the Varsity 2 Mile event. The girls were once again led by Camille Terracina '22 who finished individually in first place! Camille was followed by Mary Caroline Nolan '23 finishing 8th and Aly Hirsch '24 finishing in 9th place respectively.
 
The Crusader boys' team also ran strong in the Varsity 5k led by sophomore Sam Sweeney, who finished in with a fast time of 21:12.96, followed closely by Davin Mortellaro '24 with a 21:14.54, and Nicholas Mahoney '23 with a 21:14.54. Freshman Wyatt Germer '25 showed improvement, with a strong run in the Junior Varsity with a 27:25.47 and a 35th place finish.
