    Heredia is a refreshingly pleasant and relaxed Costa Rican city filled with enjoyable parks, lively plazas and a surprising history. Heredia is a great location for the student looking for a truly unique Costa Rica experience. Heredia is a city that is emblematic of the Costa Rican lifestyle and makes for a perfect study abroad destination. The city showcases pleasant plazas, lush green spaces and parks, and friendly people enjoying their days. Some people say life in Heredia really is la pura vida. 

    Students stay in Heredia but will be volunteering in the village of La Carpio. The service project is determined before departure. Students participate in a variety of activities that truly depend on the needs of the community. So students will have the opportunity to both do service and have an authentic cultural experience. 
  • WWII History in Germany

    The purpose of this educational excursion is to expose students to a variety of interesting, educational, and historical experiences that will last them a lifetime. Stepping outside of the traditional classroom, students will be exposed to European culture surrounding WWII, ranging from visiting memorials to concentration camps to museums. Throughout this trip, students will gain a better understanding of the world at large while gaining an appreciation of the gravity of this tremendously difficult time in our world’s history.

  • Filmmaking in Los Angeles

    Filmmaking in Los Angeles

    Dates: January 16-21, 2023

    A look into the heart of filmmaking in Los Angeles, California. Students will trace the history of film and current filmmaking with screenings of current films. Students will also get to peek inside to see how movies are created from trips to Universal Studios and Warner Brothers Studios to seeing university film departments. Students will explore it all.
